SPLATOON 3 RAINMAKER THIEF: STRINGERS EDITION
769A couple weeks ago I played with some fans on my Discord server. One viewer by the name of Twelve suggested a minigame that was like an upgraded remix of the beloved Rainmaker Thief game we played in Splatoon 2, with some deathmatch elements sprinkled onto it. This time, for each splat that you get on a player, you get one point but if you splat the current rainmaker carrier, you get 3 points added to your team score. So a rainmaker splat is the equivalent of a triple splat on normal players. However, there is a reward if you do end up holding the rainmaker until its timer depletes, for if you do then your team will add 3 points to their score. The carrier of the rainmaker can't go back to their spawn, however, as I've drawn boundaries on each of the maps which restrict the rainmaker carrier's movements. Whoever gets the most points at the end wins. Oh and only Splatoon 3 Stringers are allowed in the version we played.
