Splatterhouse Game Over/Continue Scene || Splatterhouse (Arcade/MAME)
21As far as arcade game over/continue scenes go, Splatterhouse is pretty basic.
It's just a scene of Rick lying down dead while a timer ticks down, and you're given the option to continue or no. What is this, a home console game?
Regardless of if the timer runs out or you select no the scene ends the same, and you're kicked back to the title screen.
If you make the high score table you'll put in your initials before you get to the continue screen, as your score will reset each time you continue.
As a side note the game will never go into attract mode when credit is inserted.
The ROM used in this video is the "World, new version (SH3)" ROM.
