Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow in FPP | Mission 8: LAX | Los Angeles, California
Welcome to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, a stealth action game made by Ubisoft featuring Sam Fisher, an operative in the Third Echelon of the NSA on a quest to stop a global terror conspiracy by the Indonesian Terrorist Group Darah Dan Doa. This playthrough utilises the Tactical First Person Perspective Stealth Shooter mod in addition to the remastered PS3 textures alongside DGVoodoo 2 to enable 1920 x 1080 upsacling.
After the capture of Suhadi Sodono, the world would assume that it is now safe against further terror attacks by the Darah Dan Doa. However, the NSA's Third Echelon initiative knows better. The Shadownet neutralisation teams were successful in disarming all but one of the weaponised ND-133 containers, the one in possession of ex-CIA agent Norman Soth. Meanwhile, the CIA, with the intelligence gathered by Sam in the refinery in Kundang, managed to bust the Golden Triangle Heroin Dug Trade in Southeast Asia.
Soth has recently been captured on a surveillance camera in Los Angeles International Airport prompting 3E to haul ass and send in their finest field operative, Sam Fisher on home soil to track him down and put him down once and for all. However, there is another complication. As a measure of backup for what is already a backup, Soth has injected some of his fellow terrorists with the Smallpox vaccine should they have to deploy the virus in the open air without prior notice. While this would technically keep them safe, they could also spread this contagion to others through personal interaction, making all efforts to stop the weaponised smallpox futile.
So now, Sam has to not only track down and eliminate Norman Soth, but he also has to ensure that he kills every single terrorist that is currently carrying a dose of the smallpox virus in their bodies.
In the end, Sam manages to neutralise Soth and make it to the bomb before it explodes. However, the bomb only has 11 minutes remaining, which is too short of a time for Emergency Response Teams to arrive and disarm it or for the Osprey to fly it outside of city limits should Sam take it to the VTOL.
Hence, Sam just decides to let it lie on the ground and somehow, the response time magically becomes shorter as the bomb is safely exploded in a vacuum-sealed chamber. End of story.
