This was one of my favourite games for a while back in the Xbox 360 days (when I wasn't getting the red ring of death every other month) - and it's now on PC and NOW it works with widescreen, which is new (to me).

Made by a short lived Game Studio run by Disney - who also did another amazing racing game, Pure, which was like SSX with ATV's which you could custom build. I actually kept my PS3 so that if I wanted to, I could play it from time to time.

Any way - back to Split Second, or Split/Second - it's a game where you play a contestant in a gigantic racing car game show complete with explosions and demolitions, where hitting the right button at the right time can bring down a building that will crush your enemies AND create a new route.

Like I said - even if you don't win, it's still lots of fun - and you can get it on steam as well as Xbox 360 and - I believe - PS3.
