I had never thought about this before until playing through this section of this game, but do they swim in goo on the show? It'd explain the name of the beach (Goo Lagoon), and how they're able to swim through another viscosity of 'water' compared to normal. I'm not really trying to overthink matters, I'm just curious if this was the show's creators' head canon.
