6,752SpongeBob SquarePants episodes have aired on Nickelodeon for more than 20 years. Spinoffs Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show are only the beginning of new content from the franchise, because A LOT more is planned for the channel's beloved cash cow.
Nickelodeon president Brian Robbins talked about the future of SpongeBob, featuring new SpongeBob movies, TV shows, live-action content, and even calling it a mini Marvel universe. Based on everything coming up, will we ever truly see the end of the series anytime soon? Probably not.
