Sprite Guard - Collage (a musical fractal)
0Fractals are a big interest of mine, but I have been pretty dissatisfied with most of the fractal music that I have come across. This is a piece that I put together as a collage of two different fractals, both have detail and self-similarity at every scale from the over-all arc through the rhythms and melodies down to the wave form, which is sampled at 8khz.
I particularly like these because there is variation in them, their self-similarity is not perfect. They have audibly distinct sections and voices, sometimes they almost sound like some kind of ensemble to me.
