Spyhawk FPV sunset flying - 1 landing / 1 touch-go / 1 crash-landing (with custom landing gear)
6About my 4th or 5th flight with the Hubsan Spyhawk FPV. So far has proven an amazing machine. Flying next to the Tagus (Tejo) River in Lisbon, Portugal.
Used a modified version of the Airfield 800mm series MiG-15 landing gear. So far works out great. CG is within limits and haven't really felt that much drag or deteriorated flight performance with it. The tyres are quite big so its a pretty good "bush pilot" landing gear allowing you to land at the beach and other similar non-prepared surfaces.
In the end you get to see a "crash-landing" wasn't really a crash landing because, other than getting the plane slightly wet, there was no damage at all to the structure the aircraft just poked slightly into that puddle of water you see there splashing some of it onto the fuselage.
