0After the end of the first game, Spyro decides to take a vacation. He uses a magical portal to visit Dragon Shores, but during the trip, something goes wrong and he is transported to the magical world of Avalar.
Avalar is being terrorized by a small, angry villain named Ripto, who hates dragons. The inhabitants of Avalar (Elora, Hunter, and the Professor) purposely brought Spyro to help them defeat Ripto and his henchmen: Crush and Gulp.
