Hi everyone. For so long time there was many discuss about protection of this game. I, too, was a person who had a disk with this protection and i remembered it for so long. But one day, in 2016, i saw a odesel's post on youtube saying that you CAN beat this version (with 20000 gems and 149 eggs) WITHOUT breaking it or cheating with it. I was willing to try it for myself and decided to figure out by myself how everything worked.
All of these videos was made in 2016 with ePSXe and Bandicam, but i was too lazy to upload and inform about that (i've done it in ru sites however). You can see sometimes cutscenes problem like here (when it finished - game loaded but didn't recorded few seconds of my moves) and savestate use - it seems too touch to finish the game in console so i ended using emulator so i can show walkthrough.
My goal in this walkthrough will be to show how you can really avoid all critical bugs and glitches and still manage to have everything except Sorceress' Lair egg (you'll have 20000 eggs and 149 eggs in the end, Sorceress' egg is specific one and i'll explain and show you in last video how to beat her (impossible without soft unfortunately)).
Before i'll start to explain details, i'll want to thank odesel for that post and the creators of such strong crack protection (to keep piracy at bay and it's fine actually). Seriously, i've enjoyed played the hardest version of Spyro 3 for so long. I've always wanted to have some nice and brutal challenge and we've got it, guys :D And another thanks going to ratchet5 that posted videos for skipping Moneybays. While it's not too effective in normal version, it's extremely useful here.
So, here we go, General moments:
First thing is gems. You have to keep it zero at all cost until you reached Midnight Mountain or your gems will keep bugged in one moment. This means that sometimes gems will become missing randomly in some levels, making it impossible it to finish with no problems. This is where fun part begins - you have to make sure you won't get any gems and even pay a Moneybags, ever. This means you have to swim in air and use other tricks so you can avoid areas with him. You must also activate hard mode before entering Cloud Spires, this means getting enough eggs and only then proceed (you'll notice that enemy will increase in numbers, like i had). If you don't do that - gem in Cloud Spires will ALWAYS drop to you (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9ohruogGgA), there by not allowing to pass further. And keep Spyro without Sparx (you can get rid of him in Sunny Villa) - that'll allow to play easier.
Eggs better be got carefully. Try to collect as many as possible, but avoid a dangerous one. Sheila and other characters better to leave for the last, so you can keep it with as less buggy as possible. Sparx levels will be required later, so play them only when you reach Midnight. And make sure to not touch flying levels so you can keep them unbugged.
Visit at least once Super Bonus Round. Can be done when you stayed in Charmed Ridge for 3-5 minutes and beaten Buzz' Sorceress (game will teleport you to Super Bonus if you beat the Buzz i mentioted before).
Play and finish the game backwards, from Midnight Mountain to Sunrise Spring Home (make sure to leave other playable characters for last in Home itself). If you did it - you'll keep gems and eggs positive.
Visit and beat Super bonus through Atlas. You'll have 20000 gems and 149 eggs after that without using ANY soft :)

And Sunrise itself. World isn't too much to explain so here what's can be explained:
Home: Sheila's Alp can be reached with swim in air.
Sunny Villa: Sheila's area better to be cleared, check the video how to enter. Skate i recommend to avoid cause it's too dangerous as you can grab any gem pretty easily.
Cloud Spires: I mentioned it above, but there's happened egg's bug on island so just reenter the level (sub-level is also okay) if you have it as well.
Molten Crater: you can grab only 4 eggs, skip Moneybags area.
Seashell Shores: the hardest part is to kick enemy from npc WITHOUT getting a gem. Try it as higher as possible and slowly as well. Better to do looking at him directly, then kick him to the up.
Sheila's Alp: only enemies' home can be a problem. Destroy them carefully.
Buzz: pretty easy boss, just fight carefully as well.
