Squall w/ more LuFamily run! | VI-VII-VIII Theme Run | Umbral Equinox Lufenia [DFFOO GL- Squall#38]
Stage 1
Lufenia Orb: +5 when count target take action
Team 1: Sephiroth, Reno, Aerith (VII Theme Run)
Starting off with the poster series. And that's right, no Tifa, we're going full non-meta for this stage. The Imps are originally Sephiroth's LDBT Event bosses, so let's have them experience the same nightmare our one-winged Angel gave them several months ago. Reno works as pseudo-tank in this stage, alongside with his very good delay everytime the bosses take turns. Aerith is an unexpected surprise, her DPS is still high as long as you stick to BRV+ atk since she's being resisted here. The best part about her is, her LD debuffs prevents any form of buffs from the Imps, means no ATK UP, mBRV UP, Def UP and most importantly, no annoying shield!
Stage 2
Lufenia Orb: +1 when count target has less than 5000 bravery after turn.
Team 2: Squall, Rinoa, Seifer (VIII Theme Run)
Now here's my favourite, Squall x Rinoa in the same team is something I never thought I can see in latest Lufenias, what's better is we're able to bring Seifer to complete this love triangle party. Seifer + Squall is more than capable to nuke this boss, Rinoa provides the extra damage and auras making the stage easier to manipulate (not to mention her heals help to recover the HP lost from the stupid debuffs as well). Favourite triumphs all, and this here is my favourite team.
Stage 3
Lufenia Orb: +4 when break the enemy
Team 3: Terra, Setzer, Strago (VI Theme Run)
This stage is the worst lol, the boss has a massive DEF stats especially after 49%, so no matter how much def down you try to stack, it's almost impossible to cap your dmg, you can still just spam until no tomorrow to burst them down with as much damage as you can with debuffs + buff stacks, but the easiest way is to just ignore all of that and abuse Setzer's rainbow with COD follow up attack. Terra don't even need to deal the highest damage, as long as she can fully ensure that COD follows up as much as possible to bring the boss down.
