Square Enix turning Final Fantasy into "GAMES AS A SERVICE" - Is it failing?
So Square Enix have very much made it knows that GAMES AS A SERVICE is 'de way' & recent Final Fantasy products like XV, XIV, the mobile entries, Dissidia NT live up to that. But is it really benefiting the FF franchise? For all the never ending masses of gameplay content it doesnt seem to have drummed up much news and excitement this 2018. Google trends might just support that since the FF golden age of VII, VIII, XI & X, interest has been declining despite square attempts to achieve just the opposite. Gonna be alot of ost, cutscene and cinematic story spoilers for mostly FFXII & above so be wary. Curious what you think my fellow peasant? Enjoy!
