Netflix's new thriller series, Squid Game, is one of the most popular shows the network has ever produced. The series, which is similar conceptually to other texts such as The Hunger Games, Battle Royale, The Belko Experiment and more, explores themes of death and desperation, and offers us a glimpse of many different forms of human morality. I look at the characters Doek Su, Soo Yang, Gi Hun and Il Nam to examine the differences in character morality.
