Scorching Factory made its only appearance in the March/April 2009 OLDC Circuit division where it finished in 3rd place with a score of 3.86.
The map was panned for lacking a sense of direction, the gas jets breaking the overall flow, and being cramped in some places. However, it was slightly praised for the gimmicks after the first two checkpoints.
