Aqua Palace originally appeared in the July/August 2010 OLDC where it finished in second with a score of 4.78.
The stage was criticized for suffering from a lack of scenery, being too linear, and was just overall boring.
On that basis, the Circuit division consisted solely of rush jobs. Cyan Caves, the winner of the Circuit division, scored higher than 5 while this and 3 other maps scored below 5.
