1Next up is The Cybergrind and Soulside Dungeon.
The best way I can describe Cybergrind is that it's an endless enemy rush. After 5 waves though, you're allowed to end it. While I do like the idea, I kinda wish there was more variety instead of just repeating the same 4 wave types. Granted, having to make the floor move according to each wave must have been annoying to deal with. Lastly, this level can be good for farming emeralds since it gives you an Emerald right behind the spawn, and then there's also a bottomless pit between the spawn and the arena.
Soulside Dungeon, despite the naming, doesn't have all that much going on. There's spikeballs, liquid that hurts you, and a lot of Jetty-Syns. Sus Facestabber Statues will also be frequently seen bouncing between springs. You'd think that would ruin the point of them, but they surprisingly still act normal. It's just that they won't charge at you from the get-go since they spawn in the air. Anyway, this level also has three Emeralds to collect, so it's safe to say we got all the Emeralds in this part. It should be smooth sailing from here!
