SRB2 v2.2 - Arid Canyon Zone (Sonic)
89Arid Canyon Zone has also had quite a few changes, and has finally had its second and third act introduced. The zone has taken its Looney Tunes influences to a new level, including things such as TNT everywhere, precariously balancing stones on tiny spires, whirlwinds which propel you to new heights and lots of cactuses for you to run in everywhere.
The second act also introduces minecarts, which put you on a track where you have to jump over and avoid running into TNT and walls.
The boss of this zone isn't Eggman, but Fang the Sniper from Sonic Triple Trouble. He will jump around and try to hit you with his pop gun or a bomb. In the pinch phase he'll destroy the walls and ceiling and leave bombs after every bounce. After defeating him you unlock him as a playable character.
