Castle Eggman Zone has also been remade from the ground up, turning from the worst zone into arguably one of the best. The first act is set outside the castle in a forest, being a lot more colorful and vibrant thanks to the use of more grass textures and trees. A new hazard is introduced, thorny vines which hurt you when touched, alongside the returning spikes and maces. The Castlebot Facestabber has also been reworked to have a charge attack and take 2 hits to destroy. Some statues depicting them may come to life and attack you. The Robo-Hood now fires arrows in an arc to be able to hit the player from afar and over walls.

The second act is set inside the castle, which is now much larger than before. Rotating platforms and spikeballs which have to be jumped over populate the place.

The boss is much the same, except for the fact that you now have to press buttons to be able to attack Eggman, and in the pinch phase when you have to attack from the bleachers there are now Egg-Robos ready to punt you back into the arena and probably on the thorns.
