This is a play-through using Vega in the GBA game Super Street Fighter II Turbo: Revival. Read on below for more information...

Vega is the 2nd of 4 bosses in this game, and he is a regular playable character.

===== ABOUT VEGA =====

Probably the most famous fighting game narcissist... his design is most certainly unique - a combination of a matador and a ninja. In SSF2, when compared to his earlier SF2 appearances, he gained a whole load of new basic moves and a new special move... he really developed as a more rounded-out and flexible character that he was almost like an entirely new character. Then in SSF2T, he was given a new anti-air special move and also a new super move.

===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====

---- In the USA version of the game, he has the wrong quote on his winning screen. The quote "My fists still have your blood on them!" is meant to be for Balrog (boxer).

---- Being the 2nd boss, he'll always appear as the 8th opponent when the player plays through single-player Arcade mode.

---- Being a set boss character in single-player mode, you get to have a mirror match against him if you select him as your character to play as.

---- The bosses are the only characters who do not have a unique "backwards" walking animation in the SF2 series.

---- He is known as Balrog in Japan.

---- To determine him, fighting game players refer to him as "claw".

---- If he blocks enough times, his claw will be detached.

---- In SSF2T, if his claw becomes detached it will stay on the ground and he can pick it back up, which gives him the claw back.

---- In SSF2 and SSF2T, even when he is on his own background (Spain), he does not climb the fence when performing his Barcelona Strike.

===== ABOUT SSF2T REVIVAL =====

This is a special version of SSF2T made specially for the Game Boy Advance. It has new features, modes and interface, as well as new illustrations/images for character portraits and endings.

In gameplay, the character's sprites seem to be taken from the 16-bit SNES version of SSF2 with the exception of Akuma and Shin Akuma. SSF2T-specific moves/animations for the characters have also been converted for use in Revival too.

It should also be noted that the USA version of this game contains a load of bugs and glitches, one example being the infamous Akuma glitch where the game crashes if you fulfill the conditions to reach CPU Akuma at the end in single-player Arcade mode.
