I never thought the day would come that I 100% all of Next Encounter, but here we are!

This final level is a bonus awarded for getting a ton of Gold Medals (with the last few rewards being Cheats). It’s a huge gallery featuring loads of concept art for enemies and locations and it’s pretty clear the team had huge ambitions for NE that were likely never brought to life due to hardware limitations. It honestly brought a tear to my eye seeing just how much passion and artistry went into just the concept art and if anything, it really makes me want another classic style Sam game.

It’s been an honor getting to play through this hidden gem and I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I have. Here’s hoping Nighdive studios is able to eventually get around to remastering this game to play on modern hardware so more people can enjoy it!
