Built in NodeJS, Read Me allows users to select an origin text and read it aloud to the app. Using Google Chrome's built-in Web Speech API, Read Me then transcribes what the user read and runs a comparison against the origin text to identify words the user struggled with. It then generates flashcards of those words that the user can run through for vocabulary practice. If a user doesn't recognize a word, s/he can look up its definition or listen to its pronunciation through Read Me's Speech Synthesis.
