Stacker - Sturgeon's Gameplay

Stacker is a simple action/timing game by dr_FACTCAT. It was made in GameMaker Studio, and was apparently his first game. Contrary to the title, the gameplayin Stacker is not about stacking things.

Instead it's about pressing "W" when your black box is over top of the white box, which is constantly moving left to right and back again. If you succeed, the black box moves up, and the ultimate goal is to get the black box to the top of the screen. If you fail to get the timing right, the black box will move down and you will lose a life. If you lose all your lives, you lose the game. If you get to the bottom of the screen, you lose the game.

Why am I telling you all this in detail? Because Stacker doesn't so much as tell you the controls ahead of time. Thanks, dr_FATCAT!

Sturgeon's Gameplay is a series where I (ferrouspilot) go to a totally non-curated video game digital distribution platform, where anyone can upload their game with no barrier to entry, and play the newest game that has been released. Regardless of what it is. Regardless of who made it. Regardless of how bad it seems. Why do this? To evaluate Sturgeon's Law, which states that "90% of everything is crap" with respect to video games.
