Stacking Guns In A Chaotic Roguelite Retro FPS | Vampire Hunters Demo
3Hello everyone! This is another demo from the Steam Next Festival, and it's called Vampire Hunters, one that I tried only because why not and it was and incredible surprise. It was kinda silly, but so addictive and so fun to play at the same time. It goes pretty simply, you start a run (literally)and you have to kill enemies while going on a straight line until you reach the boss, on the way, you collect xp dropped by your enemies to level up, adding more guns or upgrading your current ones. Sadly, the bad part of the demo, they don't explain a lot, so you don't realize there is a limit of guns in your hand, reason why there are second gun weapons that you can (AND SHOULD) get. Also, there are some... shoulder guns(?) that you activate using Q and E... which also is not explained (and there is no control settings, so there is no way to know until you just try).
Graphically it looks pretty simple, music is cool, but, again, gameplay is just addictive, reminding me a lot to Mothergunship.
