So here begins a series of games that have been recommended to me over the past few months, starting with the very popular and cheap Stacklands. It's a card based town survival game -- yeah. I've played plenty of those. But here? Well, there's something simple in the way it kills you and grinds you and spits you back out. Selling ideas never felt like such a desperate means of survival. But there goes the baby and the bathwater.
