I feel that this song really defines an extra stage. The challenge is long and brutal, but you can still feel the essence of a Touhou game throughout.
This sequence was a roller coaster to sequence. After sequencing it once, I went back months later realizing I did not like it, so I started again from scratch. I am glad I did; I am much more pleased with this than the previous version.
This song uses my partially complete soundfonts from Banjo-Kazooie (B-K) and Diddy Kong Racing (DKR). Using programs developed by others, I was able to export the instruments in each game and create SF2 files for each of them.
This song is directly based on a song from the fifteenth Touhou game. The Touhou Project is the copyright of Team Shanghai Alice. I did not create the original song, only this sequence (not composition) in MIDI.
The instruments used in this sequence are from Banjo-Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing. Both Banjo-Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing are the copyrights of Rare Ltd. (Rareware at time of development). I take no credit for the creation of samples nor sound quality work; I do take credit for reapplying various sound modifications in the SF2 files to emulate each instrument's original sound.
