I left the Slag Heap in the rain, going west across the road, to a location I did not know by name. I had heard that the place was where a Kingpin named the Shah, had his kingdom called The Brood. The Shah was one of two Kingpins that Varan had wanted me to kill for him. Instead, I had killed Varan and all his men. I had left the Shah alone all these months, but now I was ready to enter his domain. In my first visit I had plundered an artifact from his anomaly field.

My second visit was returning the next day in the rain, where some exploring of some pipelines, led me to a stash on a roof with some Freedom armor. My HUD told me there were hostile watching me, but after grabbing the armor, I high tailed it out of there, taking my free armor back to the Slag Heap. The weather cleared and I left the Slag Heap again, went down the hill and crossed the road, when I ran into Mercenaries out to kill me. Unlucky for them and more loot for me, that I had to return to the Slag Heap with.

Setting out a third time, I approached on the south side and was jumped by a Snork wearing an electronic collar. I ventured into the compound and saw an underground bunker I explored first. After looting the underground, I was back out and exploring more in the yard. Suddenly I came under fire and there were Bandits everywhere. I ran up into a guard shack and got into a fierce firefight, with wave after wave of attacking Bandits, from the ground and second floor.

Some Boars came in and helped a little bit. By the time the battle was over, there was so much loot to gather, I didn't even try to loot the buildings. I dound the Shah dead on the second floor, next to a Freedom soldier named Rico. I had heard the Freedom Faction was supporting the Shah and now I saw the proof. My HUD went red again, I think due to some outside forces, so I left the compound and, though overloaded, moved as fast as I could headed back to the Slag Heap. I crossed the road and ran into an I.P.S.F. patrol, where I killed one of them and kept running. I just made it back and dropped off all the loot.
