While I was up in the train engine, out of reach of the Flesh, I had heard gunfire below, which I assumed was someone dealing with the mutants. My HUD showed enemies, but I could not tell if they were I.P.S.F. soldiers or Bandits. As it was raining, I was in no hurry to leave my shelter.

I could see from inside the train engine, far below near the road underneath the railroad bridge, a dead body. It wasn't a soldier, but I couldn't tell if it was a Loner or Bandit. I continued to wait until I heard some noise and saw some movement to the north. It was several Bandits running across the road and disappearing at the Cordon Mill. I waited some more time. Soon more people were coming from the west and I realized it was Loners.

It was still raining but I finally left the train engine on the north side and went down the embankment, where I found the body that I had seen from above. It was a Bandit. Then I saw another. I found two more near a metal container. I looted all of them and then went around to the Loners who were at the camp beneath the bridge.

I went back to the top of the tracks to take one last look towards the Pig Farm. Down the slope i saw something and realized it was two more bodies. I found two dead Loners. These must be the ones who fought the Bandits briefly and I wasn't sure if the two Loners I had just met were from the same group or if the Flesh had finished off the Bandits. It was all a big mystery and a fight i had stayed out of. Now with a full load of loot from six dead bodies, I returned to the Rookie Village.
