My HUD was still red, just outside the STC Malachite south gate. I looked around and could not find any hostile men or mutants. I went through the gates of the complex next door and over to the campfire camp by the broken wall and bubble anomaly. There were five Spark there, and my HUD had gone back to blue. When I returned, I heard a mutant dog barking but did not see any. I found the two inside sentries dead, each of them still carrying their RPM-74 machine guns.

STC Malachite was in lockdown, and there were I.P.S.F. soldiers on alert but still no sign of who killed the two soldiers. I went to the east gate and then up to the north gate and found no more dead and no sign of mutants. Then my HUD went back to blue, and I was able to enter the Spark base. I got the two RPM-74 repaired and when I went to sell them to Viktoria, I decided to keep one and sell the other. Viktoria had a new armor for sale, the SSP-100I Survey, which was the Spark version of the armor I currently have on.

While it does carry 8kg more weight, it also weighs 10kg, which is 3kg more than the SSP-100 Discovery. That means the gain is really only 5kg more weight carrying capacity overall. It also has much less Psi Protection, which is really disappointing. I stored the RPM-74 for now, without upgrading it yet.
