It could be that I've gotten very used to 80-200 hour games, but I'm feeling like I'm blasting through this at record speed. It's nice to be back in this game though. While obviously quite limited, it does feel like it was already a big step forward to a more dynamic rpg-like game compared to the prior ones, and it's overall just really comfy to play.
NOW it's in DX10.1. Should be. You have to turn it on in the ltx file. Why not DX11? Tesselation is barely present in the game, and it apparently shuts off a lot of dynamic lights like camp fires. I also installed an improved JIT. For now, we're on the original engine, but I might swap to openxray. I don't know if the game is long enough to need to do it.
