S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl | Return to the Zone | Episode 1

I first played STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl in 2010, and I haven’t touched it since. Not that I didn’t think it was a great game, quite the opposite. The world of the STALKER franchise kickstarted my interest in post-apocalyptic open world games.

Both Shadow of Chernobyl and its sequel, Call of Pripyat, are directly responsible for me buying my first Fallout game (New Vegas) in 2011. After that I was hooked on the Fallout franchise, and have pretty much played those games exclusively ever since.

This series marks my return to the Zone for the first time in almost nine years. This is also the first non-Bethesda game I have played in probably the past four years.

I’m using the ZRP (Zone Reclamation Project) mod for this playthrough.
