This is one of my early matchups with my newly crafted UB Budget Control deck for Standard. Note the Mutavaults and Thoughtseizes are there because I have them for other decks and threw them in.

I really like the deck right now except for the lack of Hero's Downfall, which can be a bummer (if they happen to cast a planeswalker while you don't have countermagic up, you're kinda boned). If you do like the deck and decide to build it and don't mind upgrading it a little or a lot, that's the first place I'd start.
