This 1978 Hanimex PS-1000 is a mini stereo receiver with onboard 8-track, radio and stereo speakers, as well as an array of rca jacks on the rear for turntable, aux, and tape in/out. Did I mention its actually a digital alarm clock? It has a radio/buzzer alarm, but for some reason, it doesn't have a "wake to 8-track" setting. In any case, its got to be one of the most "deluxe" alarm clock made in the '70s, costing $99.99 when it came out. Its shown here playing a segment of "Good Guys Don't Wear White" by the Standells on a homemade 8-track cartridge.
