Star Chart - Morphing of Constellations (From the Solar System Through the Alpha Centauri System)
1On Reddit I told a person who created a star chart from the PoV of Alpha Centauri that I could do it too because I had done something similar in the past. I created a 3D render of the sky via a star catalogue and also a short clip moving though the Big Dipper. At that time I used c++ for coding. Now I use python and this is the result. It is still rendering... So, maybe I will delete this and replace it with the new version.
Our Sun is the RED SPOT (first frame at the very bottom at the equinox). At one time a bright star flashes, that is Alpha Centauri very close (basically the PoV of the sky in the the Alpha Centauri System). The color for the constellations are fixed.
