On Reddit I told a person who created a star chart from the PoV of Alpha Centauri that I could do it too because I had done something similar in the past. I created a 3D render of the sky via a star catalogue and also a short clip moving though the Big Dipper. At that time I used c++ for coding. Now I use python and this is final result. Great challenge!

Our Sun is the RED SPOT. At one time a bright star flashes during the slow part of the clip, that is Alpha Centauri very close (basically the PoV of the sky in the the Alpha Centauri System). The color for the constellations are fixed and you can see how they morph due to the PoV of the moving observer.
