In the Game itself put the Quality to Very High.
Forgot to say that in the Video.
NVIDIA
Right Click on the Nvidia try icon, go to Nvidia Controlpannel.
In the control Panel go to Manage 3D Setting, then Programm settings.
Click on Add, navigate to: C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public\Bin64
And Add StarCitizen.exe which will be called Squadron 42 - Star Citizen starcitizen.exe
Now Nvidia Knows StarCitizen is an actual game....
Second Option down in there is called Anisotropic Filtering put it on 2x.
The game does not utilize more at the moment.
Then change Maximum pre rendered frames to 2.
If you have two GPU cards set it to 4
In the Multi Display settings, set it to Single Display Performance.
Even if you do have a second Monitor.
Power Management Mode -- Maximum Performance. So the GPU don’t turn off any of its cores.
So the GPU does not lower its used cores during short afk moments.
Next one is Quality, set it to high performance.
Within SC itself you set the quality to Very High and the GPU will render it to slightly lower textures which cannot be seen in the actual game.
That has to do with the GPU Driver for SC not actually existing at the moment
Pre rendered Frames. If your GPU is lower than the 900 series put it on 2 if higher 4.
Last setting is Virtual Sync. Put it to off.
Very important last step is to click APPLY
Now go check in SC it should improve your performance and give you about 10 fps more on average.
AMD
Radeon Settings Panel
Profile overdrive
Profile Properties.
Make sure you have the C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public\Bin64
Profile Graphics settings.
First setting:
Override application settings -- on
Second one set it to 2 if you have more than HD do 2 EQ
Next Standard
Method - R9 Super Sampling Lower cards on Multi Sampling
Next setting OFF
Anisotropic filtering -- ON
Option beside it, set it to 2 not higher!
Texture filtering quality - High.. if you want more performance you can go with Standard
Next -- ON
Particle Refresh - OFF. If you have a Free sync Screen
OpenGL -- OFF not used anyways
Shader Cache -- AMD optimized
Tessellation Mode -- AMD optimized
Frame rate Target control -- Disabled
Then you can mess with AMD Overdrive if you want to.
But be warned. Overclocking can brick your GPU and kill your CAT.
Dont come crying if you fry your computer ;-)
Try increasing the Voltage by disabling the Power limiter.
Your Motherboard needs to have the Unlocked Power bridges
Then you can get the memory clock from 1500 to 2000MHz
And the idle GPU clock to 1000 and the working one to even more.
And that’s it.
