My Star Citizen Alpha v 3.22 review - after 72h playing :
Global impression :
the strength of the game is also its weakness : it's pushing realism to the extreme. Which makes it super adictive, but also frustrating. If you are a Minecraft player, you know the feel of being worry to never keep precious stuff on you. We are in that dynamic. For 2 reasons, the diffuclty and the fact that it is a game in developpement. Which means, trying hard, is kind of pointless. But i will give you below few tips to not be naked all the time ( literrally ) .
things to know :
Rule no1 "Your cargo, your responsability", the game will make you understand that rule, the hardest way possible. Once you understand that, You can start to progress in the game. But it requires to understand how the inventory system of the game works, because it is very unique. I also have a quick suggestion to make it more convinient.
the inventory system : You have to stock everything at your spawning city 's inventory ( the one you ve chosen first when creating your character ) Though, you will have the possibility to stock your cargo/stuff anywhere, ( each place have it's own inventory ) which i do not recommand, because you have to physically move all the cargo and , other important mechanic to understand, when you respawn your spaceship, you create a new one , leaving the other at its current place. which will make you do stuff like the video linked https://youtu.be/pi7g_3D3MNY . (which leads me to the next point )
- Never go to place that you can't go back, never take risks, never take unecessary stuff with you.
As a new player , you MUST stay in armistice zones ( the main cities planets and space stations) . You are your own worst enemy, you will die because you need to test the things - and it's natural process. You don't need any pve / pvp on top of it.
The missions are way to difficult to new players and most of the time are bugged ( which is not a complain, but a simple info to make you understand that , as a new player, you must not do them, because , 1, you can't tell if they are bugged or not, 2 they are not balanced for new players ( and again, since the game is in alpha, this is just normal ). There s other way to make money, but it requires patience.

my tips for new players, in short :
.Stay on armistice ( safe ) planets and space stations
.Don't try to farm or do the missions ( not as long as you feel new to the game, i mean - its very important, otherwise you will get super frustrated, very quickly )
.Stock everything in your spawn planet inventory ( or a place that you choose, but it has to always be the same , and a very secure place to reach.
.You can change your spawning location at the hospital ( ask for a room at the terminal on the hospital's lobby ) then lie to your hospital bed and choose "regeneration" then you will respawn always there. I highly recommand to choose the station above Microtech planet as a spawn ( for all the reasons i ve explained before )
.Grab all the objects on the floor and try to sell them ( they are dropped by other players ( and most of the time, intentionnaly, to help you ) ( it is actually the best way to stuff you - and you will have good surprise on what people drops sometimes )

my suggestion for the game developpers:
- make all that clear as an obligatory ( modal ) text to read for new players.
- spawn the bonus suits and helmets ( that currently spawn at the hospitals ) directly inside each new vehicles ( because it s ,1 , more logical/realistic , 2, a good inventory management idea ( that i already apply in my gameplay ) , 3, it will help new players make more easily starting money ( and if it breaks the economy somehow, just making the sell price lower will fix the issue, but it is important to give the suits with the vehicles, for the sake of the fun. ) )
