New to Star Citizen, decided to spend the credits to buy a ROC to do surface mining, which apparently has more bugs than a 5 star Roach Motel. This happened the first time getting into the ROC, each attempt after also was meet with falling though the planet to my death.

For a game 8 years in development it's in a pretty piss poor state. "But its in alpha" is an excuse that goes only so far, and as far as new player experiences go it's not pretty. I'd like to consider 2 weeks a pretty fair shake at TRYING to play the game, but it is a constant fight with all the issues.

For example;
- Almost daily account resets due to the ship spawning system screwing up and giving errors on unable to retrieve my ship or file a claim.
- Each time you reset your account, it's a gamble if you get any of your equipment back.

- Can't FPS mine due to a glitch with the multi-tool that won't charge a rock, thus unable to break it apart to pick up ore.
- Can't ROC mine surface of planets due to the obvious falling though planets.
- Trading is supposed to be a major way to make money in the game, however it requires collateral which can be lost at ANY time due to the servers going kaput (Refereed to as a 30k). Or the trade terminals at locations where you buy ore/gas/commodities won't load. My favorite is loading up my Freelancer Max with cargo that takes all my 200-300k only to blink out of existence in front of me, loosing the entire shipment and leaving me stranded.
- The crimestat system is also bugged to hell, and full of ways to game the system leaving griefers to run rampant at being dicks without any consequence. Gotta love spawning in prison after getting shot down cause someone EVA rammed your ship and pressed charges. Also when you are in prison you goto check your sentence you fall though the floor for NO REASON to fall into the hole underneath which counts as an escape attempt making your sentence longer.

This list goes on, and it makes for a frustrating experience. However, when the game works and decides to play nice, there is so much promise as to what can be that I can see why people have been backing this game for 8 years.
