Star Fox 2 (Beta1) Expert Mode, No Damage to Corneria, No Death Run.
5This is the THIRD time I've succeeded at this. First two recordings were eaten for various reasons, and now I know that the RGR Plugin doesn't know what overwrite means.
In the time it took to get this recording to actually save, I managed to learn a number of things I hadn't known about in this game, namely the fact that this game has a laser upgrade that I apparently have never seen until now, and dear god, is it OP on Miyu and Fay. I just tore through everything in this run with it.
Though even with OP laser, there were a couple times where I wasn't sure I was gonna win this run based purely on bad luck with an enemy escape at the beginning. Attacking the enemy instead of letting the satellite take care of it in that same period was probably the smartest move I could make in hindsight, even though it made the battleship activate earlier than I wanted.
This was an intense run. Broke my personal best on both score and time from the second successful recording, so I don't feel as crappy about losing that one. Hope you enjoy the run, and if you want to play it yourself, there's a link below. :3
