This is where you go if you're using Nel with the Osprey Dagger. The beetles die with two long O's (sometimes 1 with Increase HP damage equipped) and give slightly more EXP than the skeletons (with 3 party members in the fight, 22-33 normally, 66-99 with Triple EXP).

IMO, this method's easier since the beetles can't cover each other like the skeletons can. If you're not good at the whole "dupe into attacking and hit them in the back" tactic against mobs then this is the best way to go. -
