Star Ocean First Departure Review - The Best JRPG Series
91Star Ocean is such an overlooked series that really deserves your attention despite its flaws. Square Enix did an excellent job of remaking this classic adding animated cutscenes, improved combat and AI and a decent translation for us Yankees.
In Star Ocean First Departure Gameplay, you play as Roddick (Rattick in the original) fighting an unknown force allegedly responsible for unleashing a weapon of mass destruction on your planet.
The leveling and customization you can control in this Japanese Role Playing Game series is unmatched in any other RPG I've played.
