Claude is a young man trying to prove his worth under the shadow of his father, Ronyx, a proven hero.

While in a mission to investigate some mysterious signatures, Claude gets too close to an unknown device and is warped to another world. After saving Rena, an inhabitant from this world from a dangerous situation, he finds himself in a misunderstanding of sorts due to his circumstances.

After some looking around in Salva, for clues about how to go home, he heads back to Arlia to find that Rena was been kidnapped by Allen. Claude offers to save her, so that the village of Arlia doesn't suffer retaliation.

He puts his all into saving her and ends up having to fight Allen who became a monster. After defeating him, it turns out he's still alive and went back to normal as his mind was being warped by the mysterious stone he had in his possession which was destroyed in the battle.

After bringing Rena back home, Claude goes on a journey, at the sugestion of the mayor of Arlia, to find clues about how to deal with the Sorcery Globe and hopefully find a way back to his world.

Rena goes along with him to help him, as well to find the truth about her origins.
