Star Ocean The Divine Force PC Performance Showcase
Gameplay is from the PC port of Star Ocean The Divine Force on the Steam Store. I'm using Special K to monitor and benchmark framerate/frametimes and GPU/CPU utilization: https://special-k.info/
Gameplay was recorded at 4K 60FPS (Max supported framerate) and High Settings/Prioritize Image Quality Mode. Sadly the Graphics Settings don't offer a toggle to remove Motion Blur, TAA or to pick specific button prompts for different controllers (PlayStation/xBox/Switch) but it can easily be modded. Font-size in general is also VERY small and quite hard to read, which makes the game almost impossible to play on a SteamDeck. Lip Sync in cutscenes is delayed too.
There can be stuttering when starting combat sometimes, distracting a few times but not horrible. Loading times are pretty fast on a Crucial MX300 1TB SSD. Having played the demo on PS4 performance on PC is a LOT better, and the areas that would drop a lot of frames in PS5 (Larcasse Region) run perfectly fine in this version.
