Star Ocean: The Second Story R is a remake of my favorite game in the Star Ocean series, and holy cow did it blow away my expectations.

This is demo gameplay, no commentary because it's the weekend and I don't really feel like saying much today.

Mini review:
There is a 3 hour limit to the demo, but progress does carry over to the full game! There's a lot to experience in the demo, with a few dungeon locations, skills to use, and plenty of combat. There is a level cap, which I think was 12.
I really wasn't sure if I'd be into this, as I still have really fond memories of playing the original on PSX. Turns out this was way better than I thought it could be, and now I'm pretty thrilled to play the full game upon release.
