Time Survivors Chapter 0 is the prelude to the full Time Survivors game, and while it does a good job of showing you what to expect with the upcoming game - it didn't quite sell me on that game.

If you're a fan of Vampire Survivors I think that you'll enjoy this, and as a free prelude there's no reason not to try it. It's your tradition gameplay loop of walking around and letting your weapons fight enemies, collecting upgrades and fighting mini-bosses and bosses. In between your excursions into the levels you can also purchase and upgrade various characters, weapons, etc.
When you find a weapon for the first time it just opens up an unlock for it to buy, but you won't have access to it until you make that purchase. I wasn't a fan of that at all.
I only played as two characters as the game didn't hold my interest long enough to unlock the others. Each character does have their own specific ability which might help you find a favorite.
Overall it's decent-enough for fans of the genre looking for something similar to play, but I'm not sure it does enough to set itself apart from anything else out there already.
