"Blue Protocol" seems to be returning as a mobile/PC MMORPG called "Star Resonance". The recruitment for the upcoming test in China is already open (check the links below). The game is not exactly the same as before, now it's managed by Tencent and Bokura (Shanghai Bokura Network Technology), it looks like it's adapted for mobile devices, so we will need to wait until they show some more gameplay. Obviously, there will be Gacha in this version, based on the previous tests it will be costume gacha. The recruitment results will be known at the end of this month, so we can expect the test to begin this fall or early next year.
