Well, well, well! If it isn't my old friends from the Enterprise coming to my rescue once again! I was in a bit of a tight spot, you see. Some unsavory characters were after me — Harcourt Fenton Mudd — and I had to take refuge in this old wreck of a ship.

But of course, I knew that you folks would come through for me. And here you are, just in the nick of time. I must say, it's a relief to see some friendly faces after all the trouble I've been through.

As for the pirates, well, let's just say that they and I have a bit of a history. But I assure you, I had nothing to do with this latest attack on that poor ship. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, as it were.

This derelict spacecraft? Well, that's another story entirely. I happened to stumble upon it in my travels, and let's just say that it's a bit of a mystery. I'm sure you and your crew will be able to get to the bottom of it, though.

In any case, I'm just glad to be in the company of such capable and resourceful individuals. I'm sure we'll be able to sort this all out in due time. Just don't take too long, will you? I've got places to go and people to swindle. I mean, see! So many people to see...
