Jenna is working on a secret Starfleet project, where one scientist's illegal research goes awry, with disastrous consequences.

A fan made video of Star Trek Online, with the majority of scenes created using 'The Foundry' mission creation tool, captured with fraps and set to music by Two Steps from Hell.

This is fan-made. I do not own anything in this video, no copyright infringement is intended, all music and images belong to their owners/creators.

Thought it might be worthwhile adding a bit of background information to my story, to explain what is happening in the video:

Starfleet had found a derelict Borg cube adrift in space. It was badly damaged, and the drones appeared to be dormant. Starfleet quickly towed it to a secret location where they could study it. Two ships (one science, and one tactical) were stationed at the cube to study it and maintain security. Starfleet hoped to discover new technologies as a result of their discovery, they also intended to keep it secret. They named the project 'Eclipse'. One of the Starfleet scientists (a Professor Gabriel Rhymer) working on the Eclipse made a request to study the drones to understand how the collective consciousness of the Borg operated, in the hopes of finding a weakness to their unity. The request was denied (either because they found it unpalatable to conduct study on living things, because they didn't trust the scientist who made the request, or it was just too dangerous). The scientist went ahead with the research anyway, and did so in secret. Who had provided him with the equipment he needed is unknown. One week into the project his research accidentally caused some of the dormant Borg to awaken, these Borg quickly brought parts of their cube online, stormed the 'base camp' of the scientists and swiftly destroyed the two star ships outside (though one of them sent a distress signal). On board the cube, five of the Starfleet personnel had survived, and ran through the cube to escape the Borg who were hunting them down. Only one had a weapon, which he used in defence of the other four to allow them to escape, but he was overwhelmed by Borg and killed. One of the other four was an engineer, who heroically saw an opportunity to try and shut down the cube. She separated from the rest of the group, and although she inflicted some damage on the cubes systems, she was eliminated by drones who beamed in around her. The U.S.S. Horizon arrived on the scene, swooped in and beamed out the remaining three (one of whom was Rhymer himself, and another was the Science Officer of the Horizon). The Horizon was attacked by the cube as it tried to flee, and a fierce battle ensued. Damage was dealt to both vessels. The Horizon was about to breach its warp core, and the weakened cube saw its opportunity to make an escape. The Chief Engineer of the Horizon stabilised the core, and the Horizon made its way back to Earth. Rhymer was put on trial at an inquest, and confessed to his actions, arguing that Starfleet should have backed him. Starfleet send him to a secure prison disguised as a mining operation. The Klingon Empire had heard rumours about the Eclipse, but were unable to locate it. Their intention was to break Rhymer out of prison, convince him to join them, and continue his research with the Gorn. A potential sequel to this video, would begin with a large space battle and hand to hand combat in the prison as Klingon forces storm the facility and successfully convince Rhymer to leave with them. The Eclipse is still out there. It may have returned to the collective, it may be rogue, or it may have been taken by other forces. Rhymer is an alt KDF character of mine, and you may well see him in and around 'First City' on Qo'nos from time to time, I wanted to create a video that set up his story. I hope you enjoyed it.
