Star Wars Episode I: Racer playthrough (ALL RACERS)
6I thought it was impossible, because I once read you have to modify something to launch this game in Windows 10 or 11, but recently I found out this game is available on Steam, so I used this opportunity to get this game.
Also there is the remastered version of this, which came up in 2020, but is available only for PlayStation 4, XBOX ONE and Nintendo Switch.
This game came up in 1999 after the movie Star Wars Ep. I: Phantom Menace appeared. People were being hyped after this Star Wars movie so were we. I loved playing that with my brother and big sister back in the early 2000s.
There are four pod racing tournament routes and three winning variants to choose before starting a race. If you win a race with the 1st place, you unlock an another racer.
While racing you can taunt, launch the engine boost, repair, etc.
You should watch out while boosting an engine. If you don't slow down, your pod will start burning and you will have to repair before it explodes.
I am trying all of the racers in this playthrough and in case all races have been completed after unlocking Ben Squadinaros I had to repeat one of the tracks to try him.
In purpose to make this playthrough easier, you have to upgrade the vehicle parts you can buy with the money you earn while racing.
I still consider this Star Wars game the part of my childhood and one of my favourite racing games besides Need For Speed 3 and Need For Speed Underground.
