Star Wars - Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast Walkthrough part 1 - Kejim Post
Me playing through the magnificent 2002 game Jedi Knight II. I've loved this game ever since it came out, and in my opinion it still is a very good game... the player is required to use his/her brain on many occasions, and there's no autosaving, so one must take that into account as well! We've all been spoiled with newer games and their autosaves every 5 minutes, and you do need to take care... because you WILL die. Even on the easiest difficulty. You will die a lot. This is mainly due to the enemies having x-ray vision and reflexes better than any Jedi! But there are also several enviromental hazards that you must pay attention to. It can be frustrating at times, but this game is definitely worth your time, and if you are a true gamer you will enjoy every single challenge the game throws at you.
This game also uses the Star Wars soundtrack made by John Williams, which really gets the player into the Star Wars mood.
Everything in the game smells, sounds, looks, and taste of Star Wars. It only gets really good once you get your hands on a lightsaber though!
I haven't found all the hidden areas yet; much like Doom 3 I prefer to discover them by myself and not use any online guides. This is simply a playthrough to demonstrate gameplay and solutions to its various puzzles. I hope you enjoy, and may the force be with you.
