A great follow up to the original. If you enjoyed the original this just more of the same goodness. There seem to be more planet based locales on this one and I actually really like that. The downside is that it means there is a ton of air to ground based combat and, yes, unfortunately, air to water based combat. I thought fighting tanks was rough but they added in boats and submarines. The first boss I believe was a dub boss and there is nothing quite like waiting to be able to attack. There are only two playable characters this time which is perfectly fine. They play differently enough. One has missiles and bombs, the other has force powers, the new gimmick. It's cool. The downside is that it takes forever for them to recharge. While you can really spam your alternate weapons with Nym and they do some great destruction, you have to wait a very long time to be able to use your force powers. They are strong and I understand that they don't want you spamming force lightning, but having to wait about a minute between attacks when enemies are bombarding you with lasers and missiles late game it becomes really hard to manage. The final level is brutal, I think the first games final level was harder, but this in some ways trumps it with the insane amount of enemy spam. They are endless and rarely give you a chance to breathe. I died a lot there. This game also features tons of escort missions. It's not awful but does become a bit tedious. I'm not sure if I liked this more than the original, but it is a fun game. I has its flaws, that doesn't make it bad though. Enjoy my blind playthrough.
